Brief description on Tui Na

Tui Na shares the same principles of meridians and acupuncture points although it focuses on the connective tissues and areas of the body rather that single energetic points.

It is a technique hugely beneficial for releasing muscular skeletal discomfort and can offer almost instant relief which will be felt immediately after the treatment.

Tui Na massage can also improve blood circulation, increase range of mobility and is highly effective in the treatment of tendons, muscles and ligaments.

Tui Na perfectly blends with the acupuncture treatment!

Description on Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a form of alternative medicine in which thin needles are inserted into the body. It is a key component of TCM -traditional Chinese medicine.

Why needles? when we break the skin, we draw the action of the Qi energy which circulates in the body through a system of channels called meridians.

Qi can be simulated in the body through over 500 acupuncture points on the surface and flows to deeper organ structures. The stimulation of Qi in the meridians allows the body to re-balance from negative impacts of daily life and disease.

The needles are inserted into different points which activate energetic channels relating to internal organs, inflammation, emotions.

The World Health Organisation recognize that acupuncture treats a wide range of illnesses and more and more people are are enjoying the benefits and the wonderful energetic support that you can have in your life through this treatment method.

Acupuncture would be very efficient in the treatment of a wide range of medical conditions such as:

Cupping therapy

Cupping is a therapy used in traditional Chinese medicine( TCM) to remove stagnation and stimulate the flow of Qi( vital energy).

If the Qi is disrupted  or disturbed will create stagnation (blockage) or imbalances in the body.

A therapeutic cupping treatment involves warming and placing cups, usually made of glass, on the skin. By warming the air within the cup, a vacuum is created, and when it is applied to the skin, the tissue is drawn up into the cup. This increases the blood flow, loosens the fascia or connective tissue and is stimulating healing. It is similar to the way deep tissue massage can be used to break up a scar tissue and reduce pain.

The cups are often placed on the back , neck, shoulders and the site of pain. It may cause temporary bruising and soreness, depending upon the degree of suction created by the vacuum and the level of internal stagnation. This would be  a favorable outcome, suggesting the treatment has successfully removed toxins and stagnation.
